Looking at Our Hands to Shape Tomorrow
LookAtOurHands is a digital sanctuary dedicated to empathy, understanding, and global unity. Our mission is captured in our tagline: look at our hands. But what does that truly mean?
If you take a moment right now to look down at your own hands, you are looking at the most powerful tools for peace ever created. Hands possess the unique ability to build bridges or tear them down. They can extend a warm welcome, heal a wound, grow food, or write stories that change the world.
Here at LookAtOurHands, we focus on what happens when we choose to use our hands to lift each other up.
Our logo represents two distinct hands holding a shared world, with a dove rising at the center. It reminds us that global peace isn't a grand, abstract concept managed only by world leaders. It is a daily practice that starts with us.
Here, you can look forward to exploring:
Highlighting ordinary people doing extraordinary things to unite communities across different backgrounds and cultures.
Practical tools, reflections, and exercises to help you cultivate calm within yourself, so you can share it with others.
Simple, real-world ways you can use your time, skills, and hands to make a positive impact in your neighborhood and beyond.
Peace is not the absence of difference; it is the celebration of it. By bringing together diverse voices and perspectives, we believe we can create a tapestry of hope that spans the globe.
Thank you for bringing your hands, your heart, and your unique story to our community. We are incredibly glad you are here.
